aaqq|photography™ is a sanctuary, a place with freedom of expression from an ordinary indonesian man who has thousands of extra-ordinary dreams in his not-ordinary world.

aaqq or rizki pandu permana or call him qq. aa in sundanese means older brother. he was born in indonesia and currently is living in utrecht, the netherlands.

his photography’s passion appeared in 1994, when his best friend showed a Nikon SLR and some pictures he was taken. but, it was ten years later in 2004 when he was able to buy his ’second’ Nikon SLR. his first digital camera was bought in 2003, the small and compact Nikon COOLPIX. later in 2007, he bought his first Canon DSLR and falls in love with Canon since then. he has no idea about his type of photography. he just loves to take pictures… of pretty much anything.

he is also into the graphic design thingy, environmental-development issues and traveling. in between, he is also writing some stuffs, including book/novel, articles, story, (and now.. the thesis), et cetera.

now relax, have a seat, take a cup of coffee and enjoy his photos, his journeys, and of course.. his life.
